Monde Sauvage in Belgium

Monde Sauvage is a zoo and safari parc in Sougné-Remouchamps, Belgium. They have all kinds of (exotic) animals and host various shows that especially children enjoy. Not every animal lives under the best of conditions.

Our goal is not to close Monde Sauvage, but to raise awareness for the fact that some of the parc's inhabitants deserve better than what they have now.

We want the owner and his staff to start treating the animals better and give them proper care, more space, more freedom. Some genuine respect.

Especially the three young wolves, who are kept in a small cage near the bird section, close to the cages with owls. These wolves can not run and move around like the pack of adult wolves.

Some heartbreaking stories came to our attention and after long consideration, former employees have decided they want the public to know what's going on in Monde Sauvage. They kept quiet because they were afraid, and were even warned by authorities to not speak out about these matters.

But the welfare of the animals is their main concern. They can no longer keep silent.
